Asthmatics and Air Quality

While it’s not currently May, which is asthma awareness month, it is still important to spread awareness about the importance of asthmatics and what they may deal with when their home isn’t circulating properly clean air!

While it’s just dust, fur, dirt, and more for others, for asthmatics it can result in irritation of the lungs, coughing fits, trouble breathing, and more.
It’s important to be aware of the debris circulating your home’s ventilation, whether it’s for yourself or a loved one with asthma.
Not only is it bad for asthmatics for all sorts of pollutants to be present in the circulation, it can be bad for your air ducts if there is moisture as it causes mold!

Professional duct cleaning can be a tremendous help in avoiding damage to your ducts and keeping everyone in your home comfortable and happy!

With asthmatics present, keep an eye out for the following:

• Wheezing
• Shortness of breath
• Coughing fits

Make sure they have an inhaler near-by in the event they are experiencing an asthma attack.
